Lewis Hamilton and his F1 McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso are contrasting characters. This seems to have got the better of them as recently Hamilton gave in that their relationship “hit rock-bottom”.
To me, it seems that Alonso is feeling threatened on losing out on a world championship, which he so badly desires. By just looking at the 2007 leader board where Hamilton leads the championship by 7 points you can see why.

Whilst driving in qualifying for the Hungarian grand-prix both drivers entered the pit lanes for a fresh set of tyres with Alonso in front. But when the Spaniard was given the all clear he remained stationary for 10 seconds (of-course to give poor old Lewis a lesser chance of winning). According to reports this caused him to become “infuriated” and “angry” who then took his frustration out on McLaren boss Rob Dennis.
This would suit Lewis Hamilton’s style perfectly. This young at heart, modest bangle has a taste of simplicity to it.
